Join us for a fun and interactive weekend where students who are interested in both military and civilian career paths can learn more about MBU's VWIL, ROTC and BAND programs.
The Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership (VWIL) is a highly regarded leadership program emphasizing the values of discipline, integrity, and service. Over the weekend you can meet faculty and staff from the VWIL/ROTC program and attend information sessions to learn more about what to expect as an enrolled student at Mary Baldwin University. On the 22nd you will join other prospective MBU students for our campus wide Visit Day experience. Topics include academic offerings, financial aid and scholarships, and student life.
Recommended Pack List:
• Warm winter casual clothing, including gloves, hat, and comfortable shoes (Weather forecast: 29F-42F cloudy) • Indoor athletic clothing, including shorts, sweats, t-shirts, socks, athletic shoes – recommend arrive wearing PT gear • Pillow and sleeping bag. (If flying, let us know and we’ll provide fresh pillow and sleeping bag) • Towel and toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, personal items, etc)
