DESCRIPTION:MBU will host the 2026 Virginia History Day District 4 Contest 
 for the northwest VA region on Saturday\, March 7. \n\n \n\nEach year\, mid
 dle and high school students around the world discover history through Nati
 onal History Day by creating historical research projects. Through the proc
 ess\, students develop skills in communication\, project management\, and h
 istorical thinking. \n\n \n\nVirginia History Day is the statewide competit
 ion in Virginia\; the state is divided into districts for regional competit
 ion. Winners from regional competition go to the statewide competition in l
 ate April. \n\n \n\nMBU is excited to host another year of inviting student
 s in grades 6-12 to dive into historical topics of their choosing and share
  their research and hard work.
