MBU will host the 2026 Virginia History Day District 4 Contest for the northwest VA region on Saturday, March 7. 

Each year, middle and high school students around the world discover history through National History Day by creating historical research projects. Through the process, students develop skills in communication, project management, and historical thinking.

Virginia History Day is the statewide competition in Virginia; the state is divided into districts for regional competition. Winners from regional competition go to the statewide competition in late April.

MBU is excited to host another year of inviting students in grades 6-12 to dive into historical topics of their choosing and share their research and hard work.
