Scan the Legacy is an interactive learning display and scavenger hunt that celebrates Black innovators and MBU alumni while highlighting key campus resources in The Commons, including the Academic Resource Center (ARC), Grafton Library, the McCree Center for Career Success, the Office of Inclusion Excellence (OIE), and Mailroom/Print Shop.

The experience is designed to be low-pressure, high-impact, and accessible to the entire MBU community.

How It Works (In-Person & Virtual Options)

Participants can engage in one of two ways:

  • In Person: Visit the Scan the Legacy displays located in The Commons at Grafton Library (1st & 2nd floors only), scan QR codes, explore featured stories and resources, and answer scavenger hunt questions in the Google Form.

  • Virtual: Access the same content and scavenger hunt through the digital materials and Google Form without needing to visit the physical displays.

Both options lead to the same scavenger hunt submission form.
