#MBUTheatreJoin MBU Theatre for a special one-night-only staged reading of Baltimore by Kirsten Greenidge, followed by a student-led communtiy conversation about this thought-provoking and timely play. This staged reading is directed by alumna Jaliyah Bryant ('23).
When a racially-charged incident divides her first-year students, reluctant resident advisor Shelby finds herself in the middle of a conversation she does not want to have. As pressure to address the controversy mounts from residents, the new dean, and even her best friend, Shelby must decide if she will enter the fray or watch her community come apart at the seams. This special one-night-only event includes a pre-show event and post-show campus conversation on race, racism, and inclusivity led by THEA370.
This staged reading is free and open to everyone!
