Collecting can uphold your personal identity and be a source of pride. It can bring joy, and it can connect us with the past. We are asking for student submissions for a "cabinet of curiosities".  A cabinet of curiosities is a type of collection that displays unusual, personal, or mundane objects. This is an opportunity to showcase your unique collections. A collection can be any series of objects that share a common theme. Examples can include:

  • Trinkets or toys
  • Family heirlooms
  • Poems, notes, posters, paintings
  • Songs or audio collections

Sizes can range from a grain of rice to a filing cabinet, surprise us!

Submission guidelines:

  • Limit to submission of 3 collections per student, not all 3 may be chosen.
  • At least 3 objects in a series and no more than 1,000 (depending on size).
