 re’s All’s Well that Ends Well. Directed by McDermott Visiting Artist Allie
  Babich\, an innovative New York-based performer and director\, and produce
 d by MFA Company Constellation Shakespeare Collective\, this production wil
 l be performed at the Blackfriars Playhouse from Sunday\, February 22nd thr
 ough Tuesday\, February 24th. \n\n \n\nOur protagonist\, Helen\, saves the 
 queen’s life and is rewarded with an eligible bachelor of her choosing. Hel
 en chooses Bertram\, the gentleman she was raised alongside after her fathe
 r’s death. Bertram rejects Helen\, and Helen goes to great lengths in an at
 tempt to win his devotion. Class\, consent\, and the realities of war sit a
 t the forefront of this “problem” play\, and drama ensues. \n\n \n\nMBU Sig
 nature Events are a new series of public lectures\, performances\, and comm
 unity experiences hosted by Mary Baldwin University and designed to engage 
 both the campus and broader Staunton communities. Events are sponsored by o
 ne of MBU’s four academic “Neighborhoods\,” interdisciplinary communities t
 hat unite students and faculty around shared interests in areas like busine
 ss and technology\, health and science\, education and society\, and creati
